Board Policy Regarding the Submission and Publication of Articles by Members for the News & Views

The Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce encourages the submission of valuable articles from its members for the monthly News & Views. The primary purpose of the articles is to educate or inform the reader on issues of interest to Chamber members and their businesses. The articles should be informative, could be about the author’s area of expertise, and may not be merely advertising. The author must include his name and the name of his business and how to contact him if the reader so desires.

The articles will be published in the News & Views under a Chamber heading. Articles submitted must be in Microsoft Word format via e-mail to the Executive Director. Length of the article should be no longer than 500 words. Articles must be received, by the Executive Director no later than the 15th of the month preceding publication. If too many articles are received so that it is not feasible to publish all the articles in any one month, consideration will be given to the order in which the articles are received, the time relevance of the subject matter and the number of articles previously submitted by any one author. Articles not published in the month after receipt will be considered for future publications.

The Executive Director, pursuant to direction from the Board, has discretion over the acceptability of articles. Editing of the articles will not be undertaken without the prior agreement of the author. Opinion and positions expressed in the articles are those of the author and may not necessarily reflect those of the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce.
